Here you can access educational material in eight chapters covering various aspects of Icelandic society, including rights, responsibilities and customs. This is simple and practical learning material designed to support people in finding their way in everyday life in Iceland and to facilitate participation in society, whether in relation to the labour market, education, healthcare, schools or communication with public institutions. The material was developed with reference to the website www.mcc.is, where a wide range of additional information can be found.
Learn at your own pace
The entire course material can be completed online through self-study, allowing participants to learn at their own pace and whenever it suits them. The material is presented in a clear and practical way, with videos, exercises and information that can be useful in everyday life. The aim is to strengthen the independence, confidence and partcicipation of immigrants and promote inclusion in Icelandic society.
